Taylor SwiftHer place in Nashville was a hit … she was shocked by one of the Music City attractions, and was replaced by Brad Paisley.
Taylor has set up court for a while now with some of the nation’s biggest superstars on the iconic mural at Legends Corner in Nashville’s Lower Broadway. The mural contains 14 icons … Reba MacIntyreAnd the Willie Nelson And the Dolly Parton.
But, artist Tim Davis Making some changes … with the old and the new. The artist reportedly said that the portrait of Taylor is retired and that 3 other stars, including Brad, will be joining the mural. At this point, it is unclear who will appear on the mural.
The news, of course, did not mesh well with Swifties. Someone tweeted her disgust with the news, saying … “She actually painted Nashville on @ taylorswift13 at Legends Corner mural on Broadway … She’s a country music legend and what if she moved on to different genres? Why didn’t they just make the mural bigger.”
Good point. Remember, Taylor moved to the Nashville area when she was 14 to further her country music career. Since then it has enjoyed huge intersection success – but deleting it from one of Nashville’s more iconic wall paintings should sting a little.
